Wow!! The last Thursday Thoughts of 2010. Let's do it!

1.What the heck is up with Niecey Nash’s KWEPIE DOLL EYES on Brandy and Ray J. I hate everything about her face in that episode except her lipstick. Loves!!

2.I LIKE DIP! I like dipping food in dip I’m a dipper but NOT a double dipper and YOU should NOT be a double dipper either!

3.Waking up at four in the morning looking at the TV and getting drawn into a movie that you have to keep watching is a #FAIL. I was soooo sleepy all day.

4.If I get sick over the weekend and have to cancel a meeting on Monday because I don’t feel well why would I want to attend a 9:00 am meeting on Tuesday! Didn’t I just tell you I’m sick? O_o

5.I saw Elf again for the 50th time and I died again when he drank the whole bottle of Co.ke. That’s physically impossible to do. Isn’t it? I would think the carbonation would cause your head to explode! It did make me want a Co.ke though! Yum!

6.It’s weird to me when people buy ugly designer shoes and they feel the need to keep telling you that they are designer. Umm no, they’re just ugly!

7.Speaking of feet/shoes. I need some new run/walk shoes any suggestions??

8.It’s almost New Year’s Eve. I’m not as excited as I was 2 weeks ago.

9.I get great thoughts after I shut down my computer for the night. I need a note pad. I had 2 great thoughts and I could not remember them when I woke up. *sadface*

10.I want some bubble gum.

11.Every year the church I use to attend has a 21 day fast for the first 21 days of January. This year I’m participating. I'm making my own individual sacrifice. Guess what I’m giving up??? Wait for it………………Co.ke!!! No Co.ke for 21 days!!! Two days left to get my DRANK ON! LOLOLOL!

12. I was sad to learn that Teena Marie had passed away. It baffled me that not much was said about her death at first, then gradually more news mediums picked it up. But it still was not really a big deal! *sad face* Back in the day my aunt dated a dude who owned a club and the old heads would be up in there dancing and dranking. LOL! I remember hearing Fire and Desire and needing to find out who the heck had that voice. I was shocked to find out she was Umm the "ivory queen of soul". My favorite song by her is Portuguese Love. This dude *blushes*.... well I'll leave that alone!

A Christmas in review:

Christmas dinner was a success! Everyone enjoyed the food and my mother's gumbo was screaming!!!

I ended up decorating with silver, gold and white. How classic is that! It was very cute with the white twinkling lights and white stockings, gold bulbs and assorted silver accents! Kind of elegant. LOL!

On to the gifts!!
My mother?? Sometimes she surprises me! I guess I was a good daughter this year. She felt like I needed new cookware. Even though I already have KitchenAid cookware But I guess you can never have too many pots!! She also bought me another microwave! because something happened to my first one.

My sister bless her heart! She's a bite rrr and took my gifting "my favorite things" Op.rahs idea but anywhooo she bought me some booty shorts and a burnout tank! Gotta love her for that. LOLOLOLOLOL! and her favorite nail polish and lashes.

My bestie, she knows I like to eat and gave me a gift card to Kincaids in Jack London Square. I'm so excited about this! Mmmmmmm!! I love the wings yep I said wings at this steak house, one of the yummy salads and the creme brulee. Annnnnnnnnnnnd she got me the big Amazing Grace Body Wash!! It smells so good. I can't wait to get the body lotion.

My favorite Aunt gave me a gift card for Ma.cy's. I have enough for my watch, but guess what?? It sold out at Ma.cy's!! Why did the watch I wanted sell out??? Really Ma.cy's! *BIG HUGE SAD FACE : (
But I'm considering This One! Which is very similiar. What's missing are the numbers. I like watches with numbers.

I bought the Aldo necklace for myself because it went on sale and I didn't want it to sell out. Which it now has!

I LOVE the grocery store because they sell all types of giftcards now.We did secret santa in my family and my cousins gave me gift card for Bloomingdales!! I can buy my new lunch bag or put it toward my rainboots!
I have to purchase the purse and both pair of boots myself this year. Dang it! LOL!!! Oh well! I knew that!

There are a few people in my FAM that I haven't seen yet so I'll be getting more gifts but overall I had a very Merry Christmas!! I Hope YOU Did Too!!!

What do you do when your vexed! Things are going on in my life this past week that just have me V.E.X.E.D.

I need to pray. I need to get a new mindset and spirit. Tell me this?? Why when you decide you want to do better, be better, live better, that ALL hell breaks loose in your life??

This happens to me. As long as I'm going along just living things are not great but its cool. But as soon as I want better, I start praying, I desire to be closer to God, my life goes crazy. I get uncertain, insecure, stressed, things go crazy! *BIG HUGE SIGH*

Then I remember that God is there! He wants me to come to him. This scripture reminds me too...

THURSDAY's THOUGHTS...#26

1. I clicked on one blog and ended up finding two new fashion blogs. I love when that happens!

2. REALLY!!! What is going on? I can NOT believe another pervert assaulted a child in a store.Story here. And that fool got yoked up by two Samaritans. This is very serious and I'm sad that this has happened once again in the Bay Area in less then a week. My hat goes off to 18 yr old Mal.colm Ma.son. I wish you could hear the audio of how he took the perv down. I’m so proud of my ghetto boo!

3. sings *The closer I get to yoooooooooou* Christmas! *the more you make me feeeeeeel* Excited!!!!!

4. Sometimes my thoughts come so fast when I’m typing when I read over what I’ve written I have to reverse the sentences so they make more sense.

5. I love a well dressed man! I really really do. And if he smells good too. Chile! *fans self* This dude right here!!!!!!

6. I’ve probably said this before but I LOVE the Bernie Mac Show!! I can watch this show at anytime and laugh and laugh. It still makes me sad that he’s no longer with us, but I’m so glad he had a TV show that lives on.

7. Is it possible to be allergic to a spice?? The problem is I can’t figure out which one. All I know is every time I use taco seasoning I feel things crawling on me. My friend said that’s mental and don’t tell anybody else. But it can’t be. It happens after tacos and nachos.

8.What are your New Years Eve plans???????????? This year I’m planning to go to church. I have not been to church on New Years Eve in 4 years. This should be interesting! I'm starting the year off right~ Praise him!

9. Each week I forget to mention my disdain for Football Wives. The contrast of wealth is so drastic compared to basketball. Or did they just get a show full of broke chicks. I'm feeling sorry for these people with their sob stories.

10. What is it about hair? I have determined that I must relax between 8-10 weeks if I want to maintain length. My hair becomes a big ratchet ball of knots and tangles if I go longer then this. My hair journey has been very eventful. There have been some set backs, but overall it has been a learning experience. I wrote all that to say. I’m getting a relaxer Saturday. Why did my hair start itching on Monday in anticipation! My relaxed divas know that scratching is a NO! NO!

11. I ABSOLUTELY hate musicals HATE THEM. I had to think and think because I like The Five Heartbeats, The Temptations and the sleeper Idlewild. loves. I've determined  thatI like movies with music in them with people singing, BUT movies where people burst out in song after dialogue or the song as dialogue? HATE! HATE! HATE! Click the movie for my fav song.

12.I've finally figured out what all the foreign visitors are looking at. It’s the other thought bubble I had at the top of TT’s post. Go figure?

13. OMG!!!!! Have you not heard???????????

1.In 2 minutes the greatest musical movie of all time to me is coming on BET and I'm watching it even tho I own the movie. THE FIVE HEARTBEATS!!!!!!!!!!

2. Finally!!!!!!!! one of the positions I applied for that requires a test sent me an invite based on my resume. The pay on this is AWESOME!  That life changing you can get some ish type money! The test is tomorrow. Wish me luck and send up some prayers that I do well. Please and Thank you.

3. I'm so excited right now! Thank God I checked the mail today. I would have missed the test! I don't know what to wear to the test. *dougies*

I've been thinking for sometime about changing my blog title.  Why you ask? Well I've evolved from the person I was when I began this blog May 2008.

I originally started this blog mainly to blogplain about the woes of my relationship hence the name. That eventually got boring Thank God and I started to write about other things.  Things I like and my thoughts.

Someone googled my name recently and I clicked the link in Feedjit and found that there is actually a slightly erotic poem titled "Gorgeous Puddin" check it out. They were probably looking for that and found me or maybe they were looking for me! *shrugs*

Anywhoo I'm changing my blog title to "Gorgeous Puddin's Ponderings"

THURSDAY's THOUGHTS...#25

1.In past months I lamented about my HATE of FB. But in recent months a “friend” has me back on. On Friday 12/3 - 12/6 there was a campaign against child abuse on FB. Of course I am totally against any type of abuse against children so I wanted to participate. Enter the search for a cartoon character to replace my pic with for those days. (Yeah I know I have the nerve to have pics on FB but not my blog) *shrug* Anywhoo. I couldn’t figure out what to use. I wanted a black female character, but couldn’t think of any. I then get the bright IDEA to take it waaaaaaaaaaay back. Josie and Pussycats had a black rocker chick in a cat suit. Me: yeah that’s what I’ll use!!! You can see where this is going right ?? Some stank person attached 18 viruses to her pic why???? probably because the word p***y was in the title. Ole nasty HATERS! Get a life!

2.Speaking of FB what’s with the new format? Now when I click on someone’s page they have upgraded. I don’t want to upgrade. I like the old view. I think I resist change. I need a support group!

3.This happened after last weeks TT but I still want to talk about it. What in the HELL is going on in this society when a man can rape a 2 year old girl in a store. Full story here. My spirit is SO grieved by this! I'm sad and tears flowed. What kind of world are we living in?? Why are women and children so expendable. This man had already been convicted of a sex crime towards a 7 year old  a few years before! WHY WAS HE OUT OF JAIL?? WHY DID HE ONLY GET A FEW YEARS FOR THAT CRIME?? WHY???? He should be ...

4.The year is ending and I don’t feel like I accomplished all that I should have this year. I hope 2011 is more productive, more prosperous, with more purpose for me and YOU!

5.I really like all the holiday flavors. Starbucks has all these yummy seasonal flavors. Jack in the B has delicious shakes. It’s no wonder the people me pick up pounds during the holidays!

6.I really like Keri Hilson’s new song Pretty Girl Rock and video. It's so cute. Bruno Mars cd is the business, and I’ve anxiously awaited Miguel’s cd with baited breath as P.S. would say. I love when good music comes out. It makes me happy!

7.Has anyone bought their Christmas tree and/or fully decorated their home for the holidays? I am so bad with this. I always wait until the last minute. I went to the grocery store and passed by the trees. Oh they smelled so good. What type of foods are you serving for Christmas dinner?? Help me I need ideas. Thanks!

8.Another show is ending on HBO. What am I going to watch???? Boardwalk Empire was surprisingly good.

9.Why am I OBSESSED with burn out T’s. I have white and gray. I want black and tanks in all the colors mentioned.

10.I’ve been doing TT for almost 25 weeks. I really have this many different thoughts every week?  I used to be obsessed with publishing right at 12:00 am. I was trippin. This is not a newspaper. I'm laughing right now at that!

11.This weeks Seen and Heard. People are so mean. But it's funny!

My Computer has a VIRUS!!!!!! I'm so sad. I'm posting from BB :(

If at first you don't succeed...........GOALS 12/2010

1. Exercise 3 days per week. Which includes walking 4 miles on Saturday 4x this month, using the Total Gym 2x per week. And I'm starting the 100 push up challenge/squat, I read about on Nerd Girl's blog

2. Spend more time in prayer and continue to look for a church, and visit churches!

3. Keep applying for jobs with better pay.

4. Cook and eat healthy meals more days per week, cutting out fast food and high sodium meals.

6. Continue to be frugal with my spending and use coupons when shopping for everything.

7. Drink 64 oz of water a day, and cut back on C.oke.

8. Re-line cabinets and drawers in kitchen. Get rid of old storage containers. Rearrange pots and pans. Buy new flatware. Clean oven.

9. Go to the library and check out a book and read it!

10. Take pictures of my shoes and tape to shoe boxes and/or purchase clear see through shoe boxes.

11. Color coordinate my closet.

12. Buy storage bins for misc items in bags in storage area.

THURSDAY's THOUGHTS...#24

1.I use to be the last to arrive to the movie theater all the time. I would arrive after the 15 min previews. Missing the first 5 through 10 min. of the movie There are several popular films that I’ve just now seen the beginning to. Weird! I know LOL!

2 From the makers of COPS. Have you seen the TV show JAIL???????? OMG its hilarious. They had this drunk lady in a straight jacket strapped to a chair like Hannibal Lechter. She hollers out ya’ll got me all strapped down like I’m gon do something. I JUUUUST NEED A DRANK! I died!

3.It’s recently been brought to my attention that latecomers other bloggers whose blogs I lurve to read are realizing Idris Elba’s chocolaty goodness and talent. I’ve been a STAN since The Wire. I love him and if I could give him babies I would. LOL! I really would!

4.I really enjoy saying Really?? REALLY? Yep I like it. I especially like saying it loudly too someone who has said something really dumb! LOL! REALLY?!?

5.I’ve decided I want a fabulous new coat this winter. I haven’t bought a new coat in 2 years. It really makes no difference I counted I have 8 winter coats. But I think I want a camel or gray coat or some kind of weird pattern.

6.It’s finally cold enough to legitimately drink hot chocolate and hot apple cider Mmmmmmm!

7.Okay so my license plates were stolen. I got them replaced and I put one in my back window until I buy new plate holders. I got pulled over by the police because the cop said she couldn’t find the plate in the system. 2 questions and a statement.
a. first off I just pulled away from the curb. Why are you running my plate???
b. Did your partner really need to get out of the car?? I’m looking for the police report to show you MY LICENSE PLATES WERE STOLEN!
c.Thanks for letting me go once I proved I wasn’t the thief!

9. I went to see Harry Potter. It was utterly Amazing!! okay not really but it was good, and I liked it!
I found a Hufflepuff patch in the parking lot SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay not really I'm down with Gryffindor.
