Target + Neiman Marcus

Target and Neiman Marcus collaborated for a pretty decent launch of designer items. I love to shop at Target and I LOVE shopping at Neiman Marcus so I was pretty curious to see what they came up with.

Then I forgot about it.  hence no post. *shrugs*

I wasn’t very interested in the launch after I saw a preview of the items in October I think.
I love many of the designers featured, but nothing really moved me.

 Then I took a second look...

Of course it was this weekend after all the fashion bloggers where posting their fabulous finds. I figured what the heck… if I were to buy anything it would be ...

It is super cute! But after the fiasco with the Missoni bike I can’t even let my heart want this. Yes, I am STILL talking about that!

Overall Target + Neiman Marcus have some really cute pieces and if I were really into it… and I mean really. I would’ve been at the stores on opening day. What kind of bugs me is  some of the designs and the patterns of some of the items. Some things look cheap and who would really want to buy that? #justmyopinion

Season 5 Episode3

  Hey Trubbies!

Okay y'all let's get to it. This episode was just a'ight.

So  Rev. Steve was made a vampire by The Authority Guardian Stabler AND he is the new Ann Flannegan?? I just CAN'T!!

Poor Jason!! All these folks taking advantage of his body! Geez! and these teachers! Ugh!

Looks like Jessica discovered a new creature Hmmm!

Debbie's mother looked like Sam and Tommy's mother to me.

I know Alcide was NOT trippin' on Debbie's death like that. Really? No sir!

Did that Authority lady really screw all 3 of them back to back?? Oh...okay.

I hate that vampire kid and his voice. I want him staked. lol

Eric and Bill go waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back! Seeing Lorena even for that brief scene and I still hate her!

So Pam is in love love with Eric!! I had no idea she had been with him.  No wonder she trips off of Sookie's super snatch. Jealous! Can't blame her tho. Can you just imagine?????  I would climb Eric like a tree and just.....oh. *blushes*

I knew the maker had a responsibility to the made. Eric broke it down for us and Pam was wrong for leaving poor confused Tara like that. Pam made Eric make her! Manipulation fang bang.

Tara is still irking me. It's like her acting has gotten bad too. She is totally not used to those teeth in her mouth.

Wait so now Lafayette has Jesus' powers?? Really? Did you see him pour that bleach in the gumbo?? RIP to the gumbo.  lol

This episode had a lot of new people too many.

Success on a Saturday

I found this list in Pinterest and seems like its been around for awhile. Reading the first suggestion struck me. I live around and see so many unhappy people who are miserable because of who they married. Who knew choosing a mate is really one of the most important decisions?

A pastor once said people marry people for the wrong reasons everyday. Men marry their baby mama and become an instant family, but they never should have had a baby together. People marry their one night stand, but they never should have had sex. People marry folks who they don't even know and are surprised when it doesn't work out.  No offense to anyone if this is your story just my opinion : )

He said wait for your wife/husband and marry them, not just some random person you fall in like with.

The more I look around I realize making a superficial decision would be the biggest mistake of my life. I'm waiting for the man that LOVES ME and I love back!  I want to feel it and KNOW it in my spirit.The waiting is hard, but now that I see the repercussions. I'll wait.

This a great list! I think if we strive to follow the things listed all of our lives really will improve. How many of the listed do you know you already follow?

P.S. I don't know what these last two posts are about. I guess I'm in an enlightened, reflective place.

Can We Discuss Game of Thrones????????

Maaaaaaaaaaaan listen!!!! Once again HBO has created a series that is OFF THE CHAIN!!!!!!!!! (yeah I said OTC) LOL! The second season of Game of Thrones is already off to a great, thrilling start. Each week I'm excited that I can watch the show with my peeps on the East Coast and tweet about it. Sometimes I'm so engrossed I forget to tweet. Let's talk about this week's episode.

Joffrey is a straight up sadistic pervert! I can't wait for him to DIE!!  Somebody tweeted, "The Joffrey Baratheon hate is real out here in these streets." < True dat!!

Tyrion is a BOSS! I am loving his character more and more this season.

I'm so worried about Arya I want her people to come get her NOW!

Count Down to... my Birthday 2012

It's almost my birthday annnnnnnnnnnnnnd it's storming! I was planning a statecation/staycation BUT it's storming. I don't like to go out in the rain and I've been out in the cold, pelting. flooding rain at least 3 days. The state is wet.  *sigh*  So I'm postponing my celebration until next weekend.

I want to get fly like a BOSS ;) and be out and about sans umbrella, coat and rainboots. I'll make it my Hunger Games B-day weekend! :)

I did manage to go out to dinner to a favorite restaurant of mine on Thursday evening with friends. Each year I decide how long I plan to celebrate and this year I decided 5 days would do.

Skates on the Bay is a lovely place literally on the bay.. built on stilts on the bay. On a sunny day it has one of the loveliest  bay views around.

I took a trip over to P.S. I love this blog and she had a post up about some uber fabulous YSL shoes. That post inspired me.  She has  such exquisite tastes...just check out her blog! We like so many of the same things. I told her that I am in love with the YSL statement rings. She has one, and is thinking of purchasing another.  She told me to treat myself. I think that's a really good idea! From time to time everyone should treat themselves to the things they think are beautiful!

Santa could also recheck his list and decide to gift me with one also! LOL! While perusing the site I saw a few other swoon worthy items that I liked.

I really need a lottery to payoff or a man with unlimited funding to find me soon. LOL! Because I want EVERYTHING!

 Recently somebody (K Rock )said I was "so Cali" because of a song. The first song actually. That cracked me up! I guess  I am Cali. I think Too Short's  music slaps. Christmas Wish/Want/Get List 2011

 
It's the MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR again, and once again I'm participating in Christmas in Blogworld on Pserendipty's blog! YAY!

I love that Christmas comes every year! It's the greatest time ever to gather with friends and family. 
I’m giving my list to my fam again... and watch them get me whatever the heck they want! LOL!

I've wanted these chucks for a while. They're cute, different, and I like to be different. These are nice too!

This beautiful, classic, wool cashmere trench coat from J Crew is everything! I fell so deeply in love at first sight!

Who doesn't love a beautiful bag? This Kate Spade Fox Chapel Shari is simply divine! I enjoy a good fabric bag, and she does them the best.

Philosophy's Amazing Grace Line is still suiting my fancy. The body wash, lotion etc. smells so pretty!

It's time to replace my Clarasonic. They have such great fashionable colors and patterns now. I must have this. 

A gift card from Pier 1, Amazon, Sephora  or Macy's would be GREAT toward the purchase of anything! I always have things in my shopping carts. ALWAYS! :)

I would be thrilled to get Just Dance 3 for Wii  from B.est B.uy, so I can get the extra K.aty Pe.rry tracks! Yes, I will be getting my dance on!

With the holidays basically here I don't know why I'm thinking about Summer vacation! It must be the  gloomy shorter days, or the Pisces in me that's always dreaming of getting away.

I seriously want to go somewhere beautiful for Summer 2012, like an exotic island or wonderful foreign country. A friend of a friend is in Costa Rica right now and I think that's fabulous! I anticipate the day when I can just pick up and fly off to an exotic destination on a whim. Are any of you taking a fabulous trip next year?

Versace for H&M

It's that time of year again!! H&M is premiering a designer line. This year it's VERSACE! Yes that's right the famed Donatella, sister of the late Gianni Versace is gracing H&M with affordable clothes for the masses. The line debuts November 17th at H &M stores. The line boasts ninety items and H&M is billing the Versace line as the "Iconic Collection."

According to InStyle,"The label’s classic sexy, bright, vibrant, and metallic look is interpreted through printed pants, silk dresses, costume jewelry and even patterned pillows ranging from $20 to $300."

I personally think the Versace Couture line can be loud and ostentatious, especially the home collections. However, there are a few appealing items in the Fall collection seen HERE

The H&M line has a similar appeal. If you like studs and color, this is the line for you!

It seems I'm a bit late as usual being that fashionista's have known about this since spring. I heart Target and I'm extremely excited to see what Missoni has to offer this Fall. Fall collections are my absolute favorite. I personally love when high-end lines make accessible lines. They're even offering bedding, patio furniture and bikes. A BIKE!!! I can't waiiiiiiiiiit!!!!

Clearly I am really excited to see all that Target will offer! Anybody else like Missoni and interested in Target's Fall line??
