Welcome Back to True Blood Tuesday!

First episode of Season 4 let's get to it!

As I said last season I'm a True Blood fan and I want to talk about the show with other fans. I decided to wait until Tuesday in case you didn't catch it on Sunday the day it comes on, or the replay on Monday, or in OnDemand. I will be all over the place at times as thoughts come to my mind. So please bear with me!

Last season was crazy! This season looks like it's going to be just as crazy!

I actually watched the 8 minute preview twice so when TB started I was bored. I have my nerve LOL! But the scary good fairies?? That was too much and Sookie being gone for a whole year?? WOW!

Andy on that stuff! Lawd twitchin and feenin like a crackhead...Hemming people up for they stash. Saddown! Oh and Jason being a cop and the voice of reason??? Cracked up when he said "lease I didn't tho it away" about Sookie's belongings.

Lafayette's hair cracked me UP! Yeah boo keep wearing the scarves! I like to died when Z said "I love me some Lafayette but that curly fro is killing me softly as well as the smeduim vest." DEAD! and DEAD! What was NOT funny was when he was making those biscuits and rubbed his nose EWWWWWWWWW!

Oh my damn! The witches!! They are going to be a MESS! bringing thangs back from the dead and stuff! That head witch is scary!!!!!!!!!!!

So I guess Bill was successful in "whoopin that azz" of the Queen! He the KANG now !Ya'll see that? What! and a baller too!  LOLOLOLOL!

Eric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really Eric?? You bought the house??? He really wants him some Sookie!

It's a darn shame people can't stay together, not even a vampire and a human! Poor Jessica and Hoyt.

Umm so Hoyt's mama got her a new son?? How/why dey do dat?? I like to died when her and Sam's brother blessed the food at the bar GTHOH with that mess! I am interested to see how this plays out, cause ya'll know Hoyt's mama is CRAZY!

Speaking of Sam's brother Tommy...so Sam got in that azz literally! LOLOLOL! I can't believe Sam shot him!

Umm...Arlenes evil baby?? LOLOLOLOL! True Blood had too much funny going on for me. Why the baby rip the heads off the dolls like that? But when Arlene told him killing is wrong? DEAD!

Okay Tara??? I mean "Toni" whatev. No words.

All the men looked so groomed!

*sings* I saw Episode 2 na na na na na na! LOL! But I'm gonna watch on Sunday just like I haven't!

Hey Movie clubbers,

It's that time again. Let's welcome our new clubbers and watch some movies.  The movies for June are The King's Speech and Never Let Me Go.

The King's Speech is the final Academy Award selection. Some of you have seen it and I would love to hear what you thought. Our 2nd selection is Never Let Me Go.

The story of King George VI of Britain, his impromptu ascension to the throne and the speech therapist who helped the unsure monarch become worthy of it.

 

 As children, Ruth, Kathy and Tommy, spend their childhood at a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. As they grow into young adults, they find that they have to come to terms with the strength of the love they feel for each other, while preparing themselves for the haunting reality that awaits them.

Movie Club: June

Hey Movie clubbers,

It's that time again. June's choices are Morning Glory, Never Let Me Go, The Town and/or The King's Speech.

I was thinking we could watch the King's Speech as the final Oscar selection since it actually won the big show, and one other choice. Two movies are not too much is it? Let me know what you think.

CHURCH DUDE!!!!!

So I re-connected with a man I knew from church when I was in my teens. That’s why I call him Church Dude we were teens growing up in the same church. My friends hate that I call him that, but that's what he is a church dude! LOL! We saw each other at a birthday party for a mutual friend last October. The party was SO much fun. We danced and laughed and had a really good time that night and it didn’t hurt that I was gorgeous of course LOL! I was still in the process of ending with the Capt. so I didn’t really put to much weight on the encounter and chalked it up to a night of fun, but he had asked for my number when I arrived and my friend made me give it to him I gave it to him before I left. When I knew church dude before he was always very into me. Smiling in my face all the time and very complimentary, a teenage crush. I however, could care less and was NOT interested. Probably a mistake on my part because my aunt always told  me to like the one that likes you not the one you like. I'm finally heeding that advice!

He started calling and turns out he has a great personality. He’s very funny! Ha! Ha! I love to laugh and he makes me laugh, smile and giggle a lot. I was/am still working through my feelings about other dude and don’t want to hurt Church Dude so we are taking it really slow. Just talking, and getting to know each other again. He has a bit of baggage so I have to be sure with him before we take this further.

Another thing is he’s not my typical type per se...but it’s time for me to step away from my type and try something different. I liked thuggish types. I think it’s ridiculous to be attracted to that type of man and not even be a hoodrat! I said I'm not! lol I’m more of a superficial, snobby, bourgie chick with hoodrat tendencies. LOL! Most of the types I’m attracted to don't believe I really like them because we are so mismatched.

Ahhh...but church dude is such a refreshing change. He is treating me the way I’m supposed to be treated. He’s a refined man and treats me like a lady and stuff  LOL! The attraction for me is he is a big man! Big enough for me to sit on like a chair! I like that. I need to feel safe and he makes me feel that way. He also loves God and I like him.*PRESSES LIKE BUTTON* I’m not sure where this is going but so far it’s going………….*smile*

Thoughtfully...Thought-Out....Thursday...Thoughts #46

1.Driving home on the freeway I drove over what looked to be a dead cow that had been pulverized into the asphalt. I had never seen the outline of something so big dead on the freeway before it was probably a large dog but wow it was gross! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

2.Prince had a birthday this week and I swear I want to know what beauty products he uses because his skin is gorgeous. He is gorgeous in general to me, and to be 53?? Yeah he’s doing it! Speaking of age Halle Berry is another one who is doing it big. Have you seen her lately?? Geez! Steppin my game up even more! LOL!

3.Have you ever worked a job where you had 3 meetings in the same day about the same thing? I wrote a comment on another blog about how much I hate meetings. I’ve been tweeting like crazy about how much I hate meetings, and I think I’ve already mentioned here about how much I hate meetings!!! I quit a job once in my silly days because this one supervisor wanted to meet everyday. Everyday!!! Nope! This ED is working all of my nerves. ALL of them! Turns out dude was having withdrawals. He has since calmed down since he got his fix! Tuesday we discussed his two year plan. I almost busted out laughing. Does he really think I will be there in 2 years?? Me thinks not.  *cackles*

4.When I PMS I am supreme evil, hateful and mean. Um yeah I had to put on a happy face at work but woo chile EVERYTHING shows on my face.

5.Let's all CONGRATULATE Jameil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *throws confetti* *dougies*

6.It's BLOGAVERSARY TIME!!!!  Yaaaaaay!!  June 2008 is when I started this blog. I'm having a Give Away!! My Favorite Things Summer Style! Details coming soon!

7.So far it’s been six weeks and the C.oke machine has only got me for my paper twice. I’m doing so GOOD!

8.One of the work-study students was about to make a comment about Africa during lunch then he stopped... I wonder why? I had noticed something about him on our first meeting. I think I’m right. Woo chile HE DOES NOT WANT IT with me. He really DON’T. REALLY!

9.Has anyone noticed that once a movie goes to HBO shortly there after it is made into a flick for FX?

10.I hate when people say I wish I could help you when you KNOW they can. I always hang up and call right back during service calls and get someone who does. To all the mean people in the world DO BETTER and GET YO LIFE RIGHT! Mark my words you too will need help one day and wish that person would help you! AT.T and cable!

11.Oh dear Lord!!! I moved my body and popped my back or shoulder. I don’t like popping anything on me. I’ve heard/know people who pop necks, backs, knuckles feet etc... The sound makes me cringe!!! The HORROR! Revision: I don’t mind poppin one thang! LOLOLOLOL~!

12.Just because your last name is Wei.ner does not mean everybody wants to see IT! THAT. IS. ALL! SMH.

13.I need for this economy to get better for everybody. People are robbing you after you have a car accident again! I’ve heard of this happening before and now it’s happening much more frequently. Please note: If I am in a car accident I will not be getting out to help you. Don’t walk up to my car. I will drive off! When I get to court I will tell the judge why.

Thoughtfully...Thought-Out....Thursday...Thoughts #45

1. I gotta say I think the Darkskin documentary is going to piss me off. I can just FEEL it. I hope the actual doc shows the positive side of having a dark complexion. But I have a feeling it doesn’t based on the preview and surrounding commentary. Truthfully colorism is bad and I’m sure everybody has a story light or dark but Dang!! Really?? Enough already! Sidebar: But it will be added to my list of things to discuss when I start teaching my AA Soc courses on race. *tingles*

2.We may have been over this before BUT…Umm conversate is NOT a word! It’s converse. I speak ebonics, slang and just plain ole gobble dee gook. But this particular error is like nails on a chalkboard. That is all!

3. I love when a movie I’ve been waiting for finally comes on HBO. It brings me such joy! I’m liking HBO’s new format between movies. It’s about time they changed it up.

4. I keep hinting about Church dude and I’ve yet to do the post. But he got me smiling ya’ll big ole Chester Cheetah grin. He’s #WINNING

5. It’s June and in one day it was a cold 50 degrees, sunny 69 degrees then it stated torrential raining for hours and hailed. That stopped and the sun came out warm again. SMH #bayarea They have also decided to open up the ski resorts for 4th of July weekend because 800 feet of snow has dropped. I canNOT even imagine skiing on the 4th but I swear I just may go to Lake Tahoe just cuz and get my snow bunny on. Oh yea I can ski ya'll Yep! Yep!

6. I am in lurve with H&M this summer. They are doing it big with the swimsuits and summer wear. YASSS!

7. I am officially over this new job. Chaos, indecisiveness, boredom, 15 meetings a week and playing with my money I. JUST. CAN’T. but I can until I find another gig. Believe that!

8.So I know by now ya’ll have seen the advertisement for Magnum ice cream bars. I have 3 questions 1. Why would they name an ice cream bar after a condom brand 2. Why is one bar the calories of a whole meal?? and 3. Why do I still want to try the white chocolate caramel bar?? It’s calling me like crack! LOL! White chocolate crack! http://www.magnumicecream.com/
