Thoughtfully...Thought-Out....Thursday...Thoughts #52

Wow 52 weeks? That's a whole year of thoughts LOL!

1.When I get an email from a reputable company and anything is misspelled in the title I'm appalled! Surely it must be spam.

2.I’m a pretty good proof reader of everything BUT my own writing. I've discovered errors in published books and magazines numerous times.

3.Once I realized my relaxer had this much new growth at six weeks I had no choice but to blow dry on low heat to stretch that mess out. It is now laying smooth, not quite silky but smooth. :)

4.Adele had a concert that was cancelled in June at one venue and postponed until August 14 with a venue change. Umm guess who didn't remember. *sad face*so I didn't have tickets? Ah! but guess who knows a road at her alma mater where you can listen to the concert?  I only stayed a few songs but SHE IS GREAT LIVE! That girl can really SANG! I wish I'd been inside. Pretty much every seat in the Greek is good except the extreme top.  It’s shaped like a big salad bowl that gets wider at the top.

5.I need help!! The news had a story about the current famine in Somalia. The story featured a small female child in a long dress. My first thought was “Wow that is some beautiful fabric” then I Googled Somalia fabric. Umm desensitized much? There really is a famine so if you want to help make a move. :)

6.Under normal circumstances I can NOT stand following behind or being on the side of cabs. The drivers are just too reckless, but on the freeway…they are AWESOME. Those nuts know how to maneuver through traffic with amazing skill. LOVE IT!

7.There’s a woman in jail for stabbing a lizard. She acted up when the police came to arrest her so her bail is  high, but she’s in jail for stabbing a lizard with a knife…a lizard?!?

8.By now you should all know I love a good commercial, because I talk about them. I noticed recently that Flex Alexander was in a current ad for Verizon. I had  mean thought….but then I thought that's not nice. Make your money man.

9.For some reason I feel like my email must realize when I get my paycheck because there were so many free shipping and coupons in my inbox this week it was ridiculous! Trying to tempt me when I’m saving for my bike! Hmph!

10.Speaking of the bike…the Missoni bike is haunting my dreams. I've seen the entire collection and I swear the bike just makes me feel all giggly and happy inside when I look at. Will I keep talking about this bike?? Yes! Will I stop once I get it?? Maybe… LOL! Clearly I have nothing wonderful going on in my life if I'm fixated on a bike! Yikes!! LOL!

11Seen and heard...and for those of us in LOVE with the exclamation point!! *don’t look K Rock...okay you can* :) The universe has provided us with a treat!! Isn’t it awesome??

A Trubies Tuesday

To be honest True Blood got on my nerves this week. There was just too much happening and it was bit extra to me. I must be brief…and I can’t comment on everything. Somebody on Twitter said they wanted to fight TB with both fists. That's how I felt. LOL!

Season 4 Episode 8

Jason to the rescue!! LOL! I totally knew he would save Jessica the way he did! I forgot he had on his sheriff’s uniform and he was the one doing the shooting!

Sookie and Eric getting it in in the shower was about to be hot. Once it started snowing in the shower and they were outside again in a bed no less they lost me! Booo!

Jessica’s dream sequence of her break up with Hoyt was hilarious and sad at the same time. When he started crying OMG I cracked up! I know I have a sick sense of humor. But the writers went all the way there with it…he was dirty… he stunk… AND he was crying! All justifications (in her mind) for her to break up with him. But dang she didn’t have to kill him in her dream. That was harsh.

What I did enjoy was when Hoyt went off on her in the real break up scene and when he called her a virgin forever*I died*Then he rescinded her invitation! But what was MORE hilarious than that was when Jason did it!! Did you see the way she flew out of his house??? LOLOLOLOL!

Tommy!! Will he please die already? All that for $5700?? He is a menace to society trailer park style!

Sam, Luna and the crazy werewolf baby daddy? Why is her name Luna? Everybody gets points for calling that one.

Totally thrown off by devil baby’s ghost…that storyline is whack! The storyline being related to Rene would’ve been waaay better! They better tie it to that some kinda way soon. Oh Lawd now Lafayette can REALLY be extra with his girlyness while he is possessed LOL! That was unexpected as well.

Okay umm the battle in the graveyard was just…. Feel free to fill in the justness of it!

It was honorable of Bill to save Tara's all of a sudden expert witch butt!

Alcide to the rescue!!!! This was the rescue episode! Poor Debbie Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Clearly I hate her character.

Alright ya'll chime in!! Tell me what you loved or hated about this episode. Did anyone else feel how I feel or am I trippin?

I only watched once. I may watch again before the week is out.

Thoughtfully...Thought-Out....Thursday...Thoughts #51

1. I finally realized being negative about this job is not helping my outlook about it. I tend to think in black and white and viewed this like it’s a permanent station in my life when I KNOW it’s temporary so why all the grief? Note to self: just ride it out chick!

2. Finally the good news I hinted about 2 or 3 T T back. I'm getting back in grad school!!!!! I found a program that is truly what I want to study in education and the people over it are willing to accept some of my already earned credits from the other program. I start in January! *dougies really hard for 5 secs*

3. I was completely surprised about the riots in London. You hardly ever hear about stuff like that happening over there. Y’all people have to act up everywhere though. LOL! Why are so many of the pictures of the looters black? The video with dude carrying the boxed flat screen??? SMH!

4. Missoni for Target is 1 month and 2 days away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you tell I’m still EXCITED!!!!!!! I see myself riding my bike around my next neighborhood with the cul de sac in the gated community! LOL!

5. Fall is quickly approaching. It is one of my favorite times of year fashion wise. Cant’ wait to see all the fashions. Especially excited about my yearly September magazine haul!!

6. If y’all aren’t into True Blood I just don’t know what to say. I know it’s at times scary, freaky, weird, gruesome and gory but, IT IS FREAKIN AWESOME this season!!!!

7. I like to spell ya’ll like this but spell check insists that it’s y’all like this. First off I didn’t even think it was a real word but in the dictionary it’s a breakdown of you and all originating in the south which I knew that duh but...Anyway...yeah...y’all

8. I’ve neglected my Tumblr. If y’all didn’t know there is a Tumblr link on the left side of the page. I want to update it with some Bay Area pics soon.

9. As my hair grows out from the relaxer it gets harder to smooth out. I want to relax immediately but on this HHJ (healthy hair journey) that is ill advised. I’m currently in a mini stretch and it’s getting harder to look polished at work. I’m hesitant in this supposedly non-profit but actually corporate atmosphere to breakout a twist out or braid out on them after having mostly straight hairstyles. Conundrum!

10. I tweeted recently that I wish an abundance of gift cards would fall from the sky. I REALLY NEED FOR THIS TO HAPPEN TODAY!

11. All this foolishness about Bert and Ernie needing to get married on Sesame Street annoys me. First off why do they HAVE to be gay?? People also want them to introduce a transgender Muppet on the show. How would they do that? Isn’t this show for children??? My memories of SS are innocent. My favorite character is still Snuffleupagus.  What's yours?

Oh My Gawd!! Trubies!! Did ya’ll see that?????????????????

How in the world did I forget PAM!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GAWD HIDEOUS!

Oh LAWD Jason’s body is E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G!!!!!!!!!!! Man I believe his character is great at sex! LOLOLOL!

I thought Pam was about to get.in.that.azz. with Tara and her chick. Lucky for them! Killing them would mean the true death for her if caught and she loves being a Vamp too much to jeopardize that!

Yay the Tara relationship storyline is over! Good!  It just was not believable. Oh and that fake crying? Girl Stop!

Boy Sookie must have that golden cookie because everybody is strung out on her!!! Alcide is stuck and Debbie saw it and feels it.

ANTONIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is about to do damage!!!!  Z said she is a BEAST!! And I concur! LOL! I still sympathize with her cause though. The Vamps did her and her crew dirty!

AR girl was right! Lafayette saw devil baby’s ghost and I think devil baby and the ghost are related. You know back in the day there was a lot of swirling, so maybe she is Rene’s great, great, great something. (and probably a foreshadowing to the introduction of ghosts next season.)  I mean why not? Everything else is invited to Bon Temps LOL!

Lafayette’s wardrobe and hair has become a source of delight every week. I love to laugh and he is comic relief. Someone on twitter said he had a braid-out *DEAD* Okay so he’s a medium and can see dead people. I loved “Medium” when it was on.

So all the Vamps are about to meet the sun?! I thought it was decent of Kang Bill to go let Sookie and Eric know what was up. Being bound in silver is major! Poor Jessica! she couldn’t take it. I think that was her first bout with pain. Bill has been through some thangs so he could handle the pain better than her.

Okay but why wasn’t there some type of Emergency Broadcast or something?? Why did the black woman vamp have to die like that?? Dang Louisiana! Still haven’t learned!

Oh Jessica! Please don’t be dead! Of course Jason is not shot. He is going to make it to her and push her butt back inside. What do ya’ll think??

I did forget Sam. That's what Tommy get!

It's Sunday... and It's About Jesus

This is another song that has helped me through my job struggle. I know I can be a spoiled brat. This song gave me focus. I tend to think everything is about me...but I found when I take the focus off me things get better! I must always remember where my help comes from.

Thoughtfully...Thought-Out....Thursday...Thoughts #50

1. I made it to 50 posts on Thursday Thoughts!! Yay! I should be at about 55 or 60 *shrugs*

2.Why is everything so expensive? Food is high, gas is high! Back to food… I think it will be easier to go no carbs for a bit.  Bread was $3 and up at the grocery store and I have to say I was offended. I’m just offended at expensive food at the grocery store. I have to get back to couponing and bargain shopping.

3. I’ve been off track with my eating and exercising. I hate that when I get stressed I’m a typical self medicator with food. I want to be the chick that’s stresses and starves myself to rail thinness. Why can’t I be that girl? That only happened once in my life.

4.Sometimes while reading Twitter I just burst out laughing at the things that are said and pictures that are posted. This week’s seen and heard made me spit my drink.  Also, the endeavor’s people are pursuing are impressive. Kudos!

5.I have to remember to write my thoughts as soon as they come. I had some good ones this week and…These aren't them.

6. I was super excited about getting tickets to the HowSwe.etTheSound concert because Mary Mary is coming to town and the tickets are a sweet 15 bucks Score! But parking is 35 dollars! I know they have to make the money somewhere but dang! I really don't like to carpool. When I'm ready to go, I'm ready to GO!

7.Can you believe I've never traveled alone?  There has always been somebody to tag along. I'm finding fewer and fewer folks to do religious things with (hence my need to get back in church!). I’m thinking of venturing to Texas for T. D. Jakes WTAL by myself.

8. I’m up writing these thoughts at 3:30 am. Insomnia is back. :(

9. On a happy note…I went shopping and bought some new run/walk shoes at New Balance. I tried on quite and few brands and these work for me. I bought them a size up because I was horrified when I read folks are losing toenails. Black and fuchsia! They just make me want to run fast.

10. Instead of complaining lately I’ve just been silent.  My procrastination is out of control. I read somewhere that I should give more compliments. Lately I've been telling random folks things I like about them. I have an August goals post coming soon. Maybe that will get me back on track. See how 10. is a random in a random?? LOL!

11. I tweeted about my Microsoft Office 2010 upgrade on my laptop. It has a few more cool features than 2007. Thanks job!

12. Seen and heard I just don't understand why this made me laugh so hard. People are crazy!!!! I got this from Q's twit pics. Blogger almost wouldn't let me be great and post the picture. Bwhahahahahahhhaha!

A Trubie’s Tuesday

Season 4 Episode 6
Can you believe it’s been six weeks already?

Sookie and Eric are getting it in…but I can’t quite put my finger on why I don’t like it.

Bill and Eric’s fight was hilarious. Those super fast punches?? Bwhahahaha! Poor jealous Bill. This vulnerable, humble Eric is bittersweet for me. I like him and don’t like him at the same time.

So Sam’s brother Tommy did kill one or both of his parents. Now he can shift into other people.  He sexed Sam’s boo and fired Sookie. He is dumber than spit! He should know that he is NOT going to get away with none of that. This is going to end badly.  Was that bone and blood he vomited? That was soooooooooo nasty!

Devil baby was a fool for that fire! He tried to kill errbody then went outside? I’m curious to learn who the black female ghost is, and how is she tied to the doll. Is this about to be some slavery flash back stuff? She looked very slavery flashback.

I know it’s the ghetto in me but I like Arlene’s hair color a lot!

I’m over Tara and the whole lez thing it’s not believable.

Lafayette cracks me up every dang week! I’m so funny acting about weird food I could relate to not wanting to eat the goat tongue. So Lafayette is a Bruho too?? I knew he had strong powers. Oh and Jesus Granddaddy is a dang fool!  He scared me! LOL!

Oh Debbie! She’s showing her true colors going behind Alcide’s back like that. We all know she’s a slut. I can just see her getting with that pack master. Poor Alcide...

So Marnie finally did it! She’s possessed! The possession scene reminded me of “Gothika” with Halle Berry. After seeing what was done to the spirit witch I can’t really blame her wrath! She is about to do some damage!!! Did ya’ll see how she controlled that vamp?? I am very disturbed that the priests were vamps. It’s just to much for me.

Whew! I’m so glad Jason is not a were panther! Umm but is he about to be the baby daddy to a bunch of hillbilly babies?? I cracked up when he said he was extra good at sex and shootin. Hmm...so now he’s on Jessica’s radar like Sookie's on Bill and Eric's? Vampire blood is a powerful drug! LOL!

Totally glad Bill did not kill Eric! It was noble of him being that it would have been all types of wrong.Ole hater!

What an ending! Pam is about to get with Tara and her chick. Are not. We don't know what Tara's chick is and she is and MMA fighter! Plus Pam is rotting!

Can't wait until next week! Looks exciting!
