Thoughtfully...Thought-Out....Thursday...Thoughts #60

1. It's been a longtime since I did one of these TT.

2. I really dislike smokers! Everywhere I am lately I'm walking through a cloud of smoke. I'm really disturbed when smoke gets in my hair and on my clothes.

3. Trayvon Martin's death haunts my thoughts. I pray that justice happens on his behalf.

4. I feel myself closing up. I don't like sharing my business with people because people judge you. I want to be mysterious like Batman. In years past I had started opening up some and now I really don't want to be open anymore. I don't like being vulnerable. *sigh* sorry if that was cryptic.

 5. I am in a pool for the Mega Millions!! This is my first time playing with a group. We have eleven chances to win. Oh how my life would change Friday, March 30, 2012. COULDN'T TELL ME ISHT!

6. I thought y'all wanted to watch the Oscar nominated movies with me? MOVIE CLUB IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW. Watch the movies and chime in. Please and Thank you!

7. A couple weeks back Blogger was trippin and people couldn't post comments on my blog. Now Wordpress is trippin and I can't post comments on some blogs. * deep loooooong sigh*

8. I met a woman on Wednesday who felt the need to tell me her entire life story in a 7 hour period. Why????? While she was talking I started sneezing. She said she hoped she wasn't making me sneeze. In my mind I said, "bish you might be" I know I need help.

9. I was shopping last week on College Ave. in Oakland/Berkeley which is long stretch of  street known for racism because of the behavior of the white people who work and shop there. Because of this I don't shop there often. I was in a store and some old white lady got mad because I wanted her to stop touching the clothes I was going to try on. She gave me some crazy hand gesture (not the finger) and walked out the store. It took everything in me not to walk behind her and push her head or smush her face. I really wanted to do this. Really!

10. I want to talk about my sister. Like talk about her! Grrr!

11. Can I express the straight trauma that is my life now that I have to commute using public transportation!!  It is more practical at this time in my life to use Bay Area transit but I am about to lose it!! I really don't like people enough for this and people are gross! #yeahIsaidit

12. I'm still working out!! I hope you are too! GET IT RIGHT! GET IT TIGHT!! SUMMER IS COMING! Walking, running (a bit), lifting weights, stair climbing, lunges, crunches, Jillian Michael's, total gym, booty lifts, planks. Just DO IT! Do something! It adds up.

13. Who saw the Hunger Games? Did you like it? Wait..did you hear about the racist remarks about Rue and Thresh's character being black? I. JUST. CANT. Those are REAL comments from Twitter. Umm... white people have gone crazy!!! My tumblr is DOPE tho!

2. I dont care for cigarette smoke either.
4. I wanna hear your business!! Mysteriousness does not a good blog make...
5. I need to get my lotto ticket too!
6. I havent watched a movie in a while. I am thinking about canceling my netflix.
7. Yeah wordpress was tripping on me too but I think it is all fixed now.
8. I hate getting caught up in convos like that. I have had to work on an exit strategy in times like that and I think I have it down.
10. I wanna hear about her!
12. Get it in girl!
13. I haven't seen it yet but I will. And yes white folks have been letting it all hang out lately!

I don't care for smokers either. The habit is disgusting. Everyone in my immediate family, parents and both siblings, smoke. The only reason my father stopped is because he died. My mother had cancer surgery to remove a portion of her lung a few years back and as soon as she left the hospital she was smoking again. I hate going to visit my family because whenever I do, I have to have all my clothes drycleaned and I have to constantly leave the house to catch my breath. Smoking destroys lives and yet it is legal and marijuana is not. That just doesn't make sense to me. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoyed your post, but this part of it really hit home for me.

Every time I see a smoker I think: its 2012... people still do that?

And K. Rock is right. Mysterious blogs are not what's hot in the street. You know I stay over sharing in my journal.

If I don't win the lotto, I hope you do! Will you fly me up to see you and take me to a great restaurant?!?!

Tell me about your sister and I'll tell you about mine. Oops, mine just texted me. She knows we're talking about her!

My gym routine has really suffered since I changed my schedule, but I try to get it in when I can and I am really trying to change my eating habits. Thanks for the inspiration!

I can't wait to see the Hunger Games but I am trying to let the crowds die down. But these tweets? Girl! White folks have gone crazy!

See you on the twitters!

1. I've missed TT!
2. Smoking is disgusting. I cannot even begin to understand what makes someone decided to start smoking.
5. My job is having a pool and I'm putting in $4. I haven't played anything other than scratch tickets (given to me) in 10 years.
9. I'm adding mushing someone in the face to my list of things to do before I die. I'm not a violent person but I've always wondered what it would feel like to dramatically slap someone like in the movies.
13. Saw it and very dismayed by the racism.

2. I hate cigarette smoke, it is so disgusting. I also hate reefer smoke but that an entirely different convo, lol.

3. I honestly wanted to cry last night when I saw the video of George Z. at the police station. I went through so many emotions, angry, sad, depress and shame. I felt ashamed because I have always been one to try and push the black males in my life away from the typical stereotypes. Always harping on the way they spoke or how they dressed and wore their hair. Not wanting people to categorize them. Watching that video made me realize that I was wrong for not wanting them to be who they are. I was soooo worried about what others would think, and it shouldn't be that way. It's sad that I honestly have to even worry about my brother walking down the street and someone getting the wrong impression of him just because he had dark skin, likes to wear Jordan. In the end it doesn't matter because there are always going to be the George Zs of the world and people that will help them cover up their wrong doings. This ish is sooooo crazy, it really opened my eyes to alot of things about me and others around me.

4. I know what you mean about being vulnerable, it seems like it takes so much out of you when you do open and your disappointed.

5. I hope you when so you can immediately come to Miami and party!

8. I have not patience so I would have cut her off after the second minute of that convo, yea I am rude like that sometimes, lol.

12. I started back working out too, I have become a major slacker since I have given up meat. I no longer have to vigorously watch my weight, I have been steadily losing the pounds.

I already have 1/4 of my life planned out when I win the lottery.

I want to hear about your sister. Tweet it. LOL

I hate smokers too. My Mom smoked the entire time that I lived at home. She stopped when she had a heart attack.

The state of Florida will surprise me if justice is served in the Trayvon Martin case.

I didn't play the lottery this time. I now know that a ticket with 5 numbers was purchased near the library where I used to work.

Does your sister,or another family member or family friend read your blog? Is that why you're reluctant to talk about your sister?

I don't shop on College, but I know exactly what you are talking about.

I'm not into the Hunger Games, but they have some SERIOUS fans. We had some posters at one of the locations where I work. One of the teens posted it on FB and they were running in here like we had gold.

There are lots of people who smoke right outside the doors of the building I work in and when the doors are opened, the smoke travels down the hallways. It drives me nuts!
