Back in the day after prayer and before church service started we would have Testimony service! This tradition has been replaced with Praise and Worship. But every now and then somebody will take it back!
Testimony service:
Praise the Lord saints! First giving honor to God who is the head of my life, the pastor and first lady, deacons, mothers, saints and friends. I want to give thanks to God this morning for honoring my prayers and fast this past week. I brought my burdens to the alter and the Lord heard me! Hallelujah! I have a phone interview this week for a higher paying position, I received a call back from a job I applied for the week prior, and I have two promising job appts. coming up this week Also, I was suddenly and unexpectedly blessed on Wed. and that turned some things around for me emotionally Praise him! *dances* God is good!
I will be continuing this prayer and fast this week. Pray my strength in the Lord!

Girl it's the script you learned if you wanted to testify. Errbody testified like that. My post was a throwback to the old church with some seriousness thrown in! LOL!
