Target + Neiman Marcus

Target and Neiman Marcus collaborated for a pretty decent launch of designer items. I love to shop at Target and I LOVE shopping at Neiman Marcus so I was pretty curious to see what they came up with.

Then I forgot about it.  hence no post. *shrugs*

I wasn’t very interested in the launch after I saw a preview of the items in October I think.
I love many of the designers featured, but nothing really moved me.

Then I took a second look...

Of course it was this weekend after all the fashion bloggers where posting their fabulous finds. I figured what the heck if I were to buy anything it would be ...

This Alice and Olivia bike.

It is super cute! But after the fiasco with the Missoni bike I can’t even let my heart want this. Yes, I am STILL talking about that!

Altuzarra Tray I really like this tray. If I buy anything it will be this.

Altuzarra Shaker and glasses shown above.

Jason Wu Ornaments - Set of 3 . Did you hear the great news about Jason Wu? He is taking over the helm at Balenciaga.

Derek Lam Skateboard
Do I skateboard? No. Do I need a skateboard? No. Do I want it because it's Derek Lam? Yes.

Proenza Schouler iPad Sleeve. I like this design team.

Philip Crangi Frame

Rodarte Wrapping Paper

Band of Outsiders Cookie Cutter. Bandz to Make Her Dance was playing in my mind when I wrote this.

Overall Target + Neiman Marcus have some really cute pieces and if I were really into it… and I mean really. I would’ve been at the stores on opening day. What kind of bugs me is  some of the designs and the patterns of some of the items. Some things look cheap and who would really want to buy that? #justmyopinion

Did you go?

What did you get?

Do tell!

FREESTYLE FRIDAYS: FASHION, FOOD, FITNESS OR FACT

Introducing Freestyle Fridays - Fashion, Food, Fitness or Fact.

I plan to discuss fashion. It will probably be about something I've already bought, something I want, or it could be a great fashion find for you. Food will be a fine dining restaurant experience, fitness will be exercise I have completed for the week if it's blog worthy and fact will be a story past or present from my life. I hope you enjoy!

This first post is of course about Fashion:
I received a JcPenney's gift card for Christmas. I have a love/hate relationship with this store, but I may have never told ya'll this but I can find something to buy at ANY store I find myself in. It's a sickness! LOL!

This year Penney's (as we call it) had a pretty awesome MLK sale so I was determined to use my gift card. I bought this wonderful golden blouse regularly $50.00 for 15 bucks!  SCORE!!

I may do something about the sleeves but this will be great for the holidays this year. I plan to pair it with dark denim jeans, cream slacks or patterned leggings and some sky high heels.

This week my fashion find for you is at ShoeBox NY They are currently having an AWESOME sale on designer shoes. The best bargain is on the Vince Camuto shoes for as low as $25.00!! You can't beat that with a stick! Happy Shopping!

I bought both of these for $25 each with $8.00 shipping

Still Christmas Madne$$

People are so crazy!!!

By now I should have learned my lesson that waiting until the last minute to complete my Christmas shopping is still not a good idea. There's just something about procrastination that keeps calling me like crack! LOL! Something inside me must like the hustle and bustle of the last minute rush.

So once again I find myself out in the last minute Christmas rush shopping like a mad woman! What's funny is every year I have to make the same announcement about getting bumped. Why do people bump into you and not say "excuse me" or even acknowledge that they've bumped you? Is this just a west coast thing? Are you all in the southern/eastern states safe from this rudeness? I guess this is one of the problems about being short and cute. ; ) I'm assuming my near Oompa Loompa status also makes me invisible!

 Again... People are crazy.

I'm sure I've explained this before, but every single year I have to make an announcement. It's a very simple but effective one. Very loudly you exclaim "IF I GET BUMPED ONE MORE (expletive if necessary depending on the crowd) TIME!" That's pretty much it. I guess the impending threat of what is not said is enough because people usually steer clear!

I guess then they are looking at me like I'M Crazy *shrugs* All I'm trying to do is buy some dang gifts! Give me some @#&@%;$ space!
