Okay so this weeks episode was a bit slow and creepy. Every time they introduce new people I'm ALWAYS suspicious.
1. Well… well…so there are other survivors.
2. Merle appeared with the arm "stump sword" like the chick in Grindhouse with the machine gun leg. And let's not forget Merle is a racist.
3. Michonne's pets were about to get them snuffed out. She said not today!
4. Welcome to Woodbury a whole town?? Wow!
5. This episode was too real (as in real boring). I wanted to see my folks! #Rick
6. I can already see the scientist is a FREAK the way he
spoke and how he looked at Andrea…and also the Governa’s looks for that matter.
7. The Governa’ Seems
a bit Plantation-ish to me.
8. What’s in the TEA?? Never drink the tea!
9. All that whispering was too suspicious.
10. Michonne was not having NONE of it. She had the "naw nigga" face the whole episode. LOL!
11. And just like that.... I KNEW the Governa’ was ALL types of
WRONG! Liars man… LIARS!
12. They call the walkers biters. LOL!
13. When the Governa' came back you can tell Andrea was eating that ish up. I don’t like
her much either. She’s right up there with Lori. Dumb azz!

I think I told you guys that my temporary position turned permanent and for the most part I like my new job. One thing I have a problem with is inconsiderate people in the workplace and I HATE making mistakes. Learning a new job I'm dealing with the fact that mistakes are inevitable and that I am not perfect.
Sadly, I have perfection issues.
I TRIED TO FIND MISS PERFECT
I made a minor mistake at work today. Under normal circumstances I would have caught it but a lot was going on. We have 2 days until a deadline on a compliance issue so I wasn't worried because...
We have 2 DAYS.
What turned it into a major mistake was my coworker. I felt like he could/should have come to me via phone, email or even face to face and told me my mistake and allowed me to send a correction via email myself.
He didn't.
Instead he decided to send a MASSemail highlighting my mistake.
I'm kinda curious as to how you all would have reacted in this situation and I then I'll tell you what I did.

I fumed about it for a bit and I had so much work to do yesterday I couldn't even concentrate to finish so I sent him an email. Here is an abbreviated version.

Let me tell you what happened to me last week. I decided it was too HOT to work inside so I called my coworker and asked did she want to work outside with me. She said sure. Her office is just as stuffy as mine and it was a BEAUTIFUL day. 80 degrees
We were minding our own business sitting on a bench when a crazy homeless dude walked by talking to himself. He was seemingly having a
religious debate with himself about being a christian or catholic. I just looked at him. I'm very wary of the homeless crazy folks (unpredictable) and there are many in Berkeley especially those who walk through the campus.
All of a sudden he stops talking to himself and looks at us. Then he turned toward us standing right in front of our bench and started speaking in a demonic voice.
I am not kidding you!!
If you follow this blog you know that I'm from the church which means I am religious (I believe in God) and spiritual (I pray). My attitude in that moment was this... I don't have time to be playing with the devil
or no demons. I looked that fool dead in his eyes and started calling on the name of Jesus and pleading the blood of Jesus! We were
taught at church if under demonic attack to do this.
At the same time I was praying my coworker was saying Rebuke! Rebuke! Rebuke!Please believe he stopped whatever he was saying and kept it moving.
What a
crazy experience! Right?
Right?
I'm glad my coworker was there with me and saw it too and that she got on board with
praying him away. After he moved on we looked at each other in stunned silence.
Then I said, "Wasn't that crazy?" "You saw that right?" She was like... "you heard me saying REBUKE!"
Then we laughed.
You know that incredulous laughter after something straight crazy has just happened?
Yeah that!
This was a real demon y'all! This man eyes turned crazy dark with red blood around them (or were crazy dark) and his voice was straight out of a horror film! I still can't believe this actually happened... but it did. It really did!
What I am most proud of was that I was not afraid. I immediately started praying and calling on Jesus like I fight demons on the regular. GP the demon slayer!
My blog/twitter buddy Vee reminded me of this scripture when I told the story on Twitter.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. In that moment there was no fear and I had the power of God with me. Whatever crazy dude was trying to send our way won't work. AT ALL. I felt the presence of the Lord move him right along. He abruptly stoppedspeaking as soon as we started praying.
What's interesting about that day is my coworker goes to church every week on that day and I felt like listening to gospel on that day. I put on my Pandora gospel station and this song came on first.
I totally love me some Fred Hammond and this CD is one of my favorites. This song though? Get's me hyped every. single. time. From there I listened to gospel all day until I went outside.
I had given God some great praise before I went outside because every song that played was a wave your hands thank you Jesus kinda song. :)
I truly believe God got me ready for battle!
I believe that with all my heart.
Please know... You will always be able to fight the devil with the power of God and a praise in your heart.
I know as you read this you're probably like "what in the world?" Please believe I think back on that day like what was that??? My own sister said this story is hard to believe...
