Recently I've lamented about my current work woes. One of the main problems right out the gate was the position was a misrepresentation of the job description. I really HATE when something is presented one way and ends up being something TOTALLY different! I did not want to be labeled as a troublemaker. I had just started the dang job, so at work I would just bear it (no grin). That said...I was angry, frustrated and just over all feeling downtrodden and trapped in my situation, not to mention my complaining.
Oh Gawd! I complained so much to anyone who would listen. I was even tired of myself! Sorry :( :) Anywhoo, This song right here is the one that helped me make it through the day. Many days I wanted to get in my car and drive off and never come back! Just drive away... This song helped suppress that urge.

1. Thank y’all for sending the heat this way!! It’s been hot and lovely for the last three days!!! Yippee!!!! Now if it would just last until the weekend...
2. If you follow me on twitter then you know I've been in a funk needing Jesus type situation about this job. So I've tweeted my angst through/about songs. Well! *exhales* I finally put on my big girl panties last Friday and stood up for myself. I feel like I’ve been walking around with a heavy weight on my shoulders and back! Funny thing, soon as they heard I was thinking of quitting we had meeting and some things are being worked out. Yaay!! God is AMAZE!!
3. Lately I’ve been waking up at night right before something CRAZY happens. Recently, there was an earthquake at 3:58 am. I swear I woke up 5 minutes before that sucka. That helped me not be as scared! I've been shaken awake before, and It.Was.NOT. pleasant. My cable box thingy had stopped that loud pop...turn off...turn on...thing. Early in the a.m.Tues. it did it again! I woke up right before it happened, so it didn’t scare the bejeebus out of me! Weird huh??
4. I was in the post office doing some mailing for work my intern went home ill and I met a woman who invited me to her church. At the time I was having a different conversation with another stranger about my not going to church when she butt in. She was so excited about her church! She said she has never done anything like talking about it and inviting folks etc. and swore that I would enjoy it very much and leave blessed! She said if I didn’t like it she would help me find a church! Well with an endorsement like that I guess I should check it out or be my cynical self and think she was crazy and weird….what do y'all think?
5. Speaking of the post office...To my winners…I can be a lazy procrastinator…I swear I will get back to the post office soon before the month is out.
6. Somebody tweeted about Madagascar vanilla and Vietnamese cinnamon. The delicious cupcakes I like are made with this vanilla and I’ve been meaning to buy some…but Vietnamese cinnamon?? I’ve never heard of it and must find it!
7. I really, really need some new work shoes. This being dressy with heels everyday is just….
I also need a gorgeous uber professional black pant or skirt suit. Suggestions welcome!
8. I swear I need okay want a facial! Now that I’m out of my funk I can hit up my “I’m about to quit this job any day now and need to pay my bills fund” and get one. Yaaaaay!

11. Seen and Heard Twitter was all a tweeter about Serena at the ESPY. I’m not knocking her at all …okay a little… but me no likey the dress she had on, and that wig/weave was a mess! She is however in great shape! The dress I thought was AMAZE! Was this Alexander McQueen. The whole look was too cute even the shoes.
Poor fairy godmother. I repeat, she died so ugly, Hmm...so the fairy blood gets you drunk? Interesting. Eric looked so animalistic after killing the fairy. He’s scary and unpredictable. It’s time for the real him to come back. And Sookie needs him out of his house! lol!

Poor Jason!! He is all jacked up! He was really getting ran through tho…Z and I agreed that we were so glad he didn’t have sex with the little girl. I would’ve been mad! Glad she set him free. Glad he killed ole boy. So now we know why they are so dirty. Did Crystal really say "Let me put some dirt on it" about Jason’s wound? I wonder if drinking Jess is going to get him hooked on V again?
I don’t trust that witch Marnie at all! I wonder who the woman is that was being burned alive? Marnie was playing when she was calling out those spells at first then ish got real! You always know something is about to happen when the creepy music plays! lol What she did to Pam’s face was so foul!!
Oh my goodness Alcide’s body is just...yummy!!! I still don’t trust Debbie tho. I can’t put my finger on it yet but they should not be together. He’s still feeling Sookie though. That was too funny when he and Eric were about to fight like two junkyard dogs.

Sam's brother gets on my last nerves but I was sad for him and mad that his whack a** parents are back. I needed that story to stay over.

It seems I'm a bit late as usual being that fashionista's have known about this since spring. I heart Target and I'm extremely excited to see what Missoni has to offer this Fall. Fall collections are my absolute favorite. I personally love when high-end lines make accessible lines. They're even offering bedding, patio furniture and bikes. A BIKE!!! I can't waiiiiiiiiiit!!!!
Clearly I am really excited to see all that Target will offer! Anybody else like Missoni and interested in Target's Fall line??
1. 100 San Francisco restaurants hosted $1.00 lunch day today. I swear this 9 to 5 won't let me be great! I would've so been in the city today with a $1.00 lunch for there and a $1.00 lunch to go!
2. I want to throw out all of my old nail polish and buy some more! The colors out now are just so fabulous. Have you seen Tiffany Imposter? cute like a T.iffany box and a blue sky day! My tootsies will look so cute! LOL!
3. I'm so bored with life right now. My day to day is not that thrilling. I need some new exciting stuff to happen. My clothes are not that thrilling and I have the nerve to want to buy more stuff. But at least I'm making moves to remedy the boredom. Now more than ever I know the 9 to 5 grind is NOT for me. I hope to have a great announcement at the end of this month. Fingers and toes crossed!! : )
4. TV is also not that thrilling and it use to be quite enjoyable. I actually passed on all the housewives drama this season and Ice and Coco just reminds me of an old pimp and his hoe... I can't! I'm thrilled that Rizzoli and Isles is back so I can see the Famous Jet Jackson! And of course True Blood!!
5. Just a thought. I wanna know why Jameil keeps traumatizing people with pictures of cats on her blog? Just wait until I find out what she really doesn't like! Hmph!

10. Mental health PSA! If you need to talk to somebody people please find a good therapist who is unbiased. It may take a few interviews to find the right person, but I recommend therapy to everyone who needs it. Sometimes friends and family are too judgmental and sometimes you can't tell people close to you everything. It's sad but true. There are dream killers in our own circles.
11. While the East coast is burning up we are sadly suffering the drizzly, gray, cold of winter again. I broke down and turned on the heater in July last night. I wore boots to work 2 days in a row!! And guess who broke out a coat again?? Umm...this weather is messing with my summer weekend statecations! Hmph!

Sookie driving off then stopping when she realized Eric was confused was the equivalent to the dumb blonde running then falling in the horror movie. That scene could’ve went either way and could’ve been bye bye Sookie. Luckily she’s a main character.

6. I’m having a really good summer!! I’m enjoying my WEEKENDS immensely. I have so many adventures planned. The water slides, the garlic festival, the state and county fairs, the Sa.nta Cr.uz Be.ach Bo.ard.walk and a quick jaunt to L.A. All statecations all fun.
7. Pier 1 has the old school wooden fork and spoon in metal. I cracked up when I saw them! Did anyone of your parents/ grandparents have those on the wall? Pier 1 also has these FAB pillows that I’ve been stalking for weeks. They’re 50.00 each. I want to pay that much or less for two of them.
8. I know by now everybody has heard about Ca.sey Anth.ony. The footage early on of her beautiful daughter and the media stating that she was murdered because of a boyfriend made me so sad. Too many people want children and I think society needs to change the rules on how children can be given up. I know you can drop a baby off at a church or hospital and I think this should be extended to any age. That option vs. murder wins with me all day!
